The Beginning

The stats: I'm 40ish, a 4th grade teacher in Oklahoma, and a mom to one 18-year-old, great son - Tyler. We live in an old farm house that is being continually renovated. I think I am afraid to finish - when there is always an unfinished job I have something to always keep me going. In fact, if I had a shrink this procrastination problem would probably keep him/her busy for a while. One thing I am actually going to finish is my Master's degree in Integrating Technology into the Classroom through Walden University - yes, an online degree.

Tyler graduates this year and is going to Oklahoma State University (go pokes!). He plays every sport our school offers - currently basketball. Unless he totally messes up this semester he will graduate Valedictorian in May. Just to brag a little - he is also a good boy - no drinking, drugs, staying out late for him. He attends church every Sunday with his girlfriend of two years.

We love our animals - Oliver the Cairn terrier and house dog - Aussie the blue heeler and adopted stray - horses Bullet, Chief, and Dasher. We have a new stray from a few days ago that I can't help but feed so he will probably stay around. He doesn't have a name yet, is a part blue heeler also.
